Once arrived in SIENA, the guided tour will start from the famous Duomo, the Cathedral of the Assumption, a jewel of Gothic architecture and a casket that contains the famous works of Michelangelo, Donatello and Bernini. Then you will visit the streets with the most beautiful historic buildings in Siena such as the Palazzo Salimbeni seat of Monte dei Paschi, Palazzo Tolomei and Palazzi Chigi Saracini. The tour will end in the monumental Piazza del Campo, the beating heart of Senese culture and extraordinary architectural scenography in which the famous Palio di Siena takes place twice a year. At the end of the visit you will have free time for lunch and shopping and then leave again to reach MONTERIGGIONI, another medieval pearl. Here you will have the time to visit freely one of the most interesting fortified villages in the world, incredibly still intact, and to carry out a small tasting of Chianti wine produced in the surrounding hills.
